Three things you can book online. Everything else, call the dock office or hail us on VHF 09.

Fuel and pump-out

Non-ethanol gas and diesel at the fuel dock, and pump-out is free for everyone. The fuel dock is staffed until dusk.

Powerboat Rental: Half Day

Four hours on the Severn and the bay in a 21 ft center console. Up to eight people, the first 20 gallons of fuel included, chart and VHF aboard. The operator needs a boater safety card.

Transient Slip (Nightly)

A floating slip for boats up to 35 feet with 30-amp power, water, Wi-Fi, and the bathhouse. Check in at the fuel dock from 2pm. Walk to dinner in Eastport.

Haul-out and winter storage

Travel-lift haul, pressure wash, blocking, and shrink-wrap, then storage on the hard until spring. Hauls run from late October into December.

Our story

Twelve slips and a fuel pump

Walt Tolley bought this property in 1971, when it was twelve wooden slips and a gas pump on the Eastport side of Spa Creek. He added the floating docks in the eighties and the travel-lift in 1994. His daughter Ann runs the marina now, and her son Eric runs the yard. There are 64 slips today. A fair number of the boats in them have belonged to the same families for twenty years. We named the place for the screwpile lighthouse down the bay, which the sunset sail goes out to see. Someone is on the fuel dock from 7am until dusk, and when you come in with a crosswind they will take your line.

Questions from the fuel dock

Slips, haul-outs, and what to expect when you tie up.

Yes. Book a night online for boats up to 35 feet, or hail the fuel dock on VHF 09 as you come up the creek. For anything longer, call the dock office and we will quote by the foot.

About seven feet at mean low water on the outer piers and five on the inner fingers. If you draw more than five feet, tell us when you book and we will put you on the outside.

Now. Hauls run from late October into December and the November weekends fill first. Call the dock office with your boat's length, beam, and weight.

Yes, on a winter wet slip from November through April. Every winter slip has a bubbler to keep the ice off, and we walk the docks after every storm.

The person driving needs a boater safety card and a photo ID. We go over the boat, the chart, and the channel with you before you leave the dock.

Yes. Slip holders get a pass for the lot off Creekside Drive. Transient guests and renters can park there too. The lot is tight on summer Saturdays, so come early.
